 Part-time admission for ND and HND at PTI, 2022–2023



For admission to the following part-time (SICE)weekend programs in Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) for the 2022/20223 Academic Session, The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, requests applications from individuals who meet the necessary qualifications.

A. Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma programs are offered (ND)

At the Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) levels, the following programs are offered.
Technology in Petroleum Engineering (ND and HND)
Industrial Safety and Environmental Technology (ND and HND) Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology (ND and HND)
HND choices: (1) Environmental Technology (2) Industrial Safety Technology
Engineering Technology for Petroleum and Gas Processing, fourth (ND and HND).
HND choices: (1) Engineering Technology for Petrochemical and Gas Processing (2) Engineering Technology for Petrochemical and Polymer

Technology 3: Engineering Technology for Gas Processing
(4) Engineering Technology for Petroleum Refining
v. Technology in mechanical engineering (ND and HND)
HND choices: (1) Production; (2) a power plant.
Technology in electrical and electronic engineering vi (ND and HND).
HND choices: (1) Control and instrumentation.
(3) Power and Machines (2) Electrical and Telecommunications
Technology in Science Laboratories (ND and HND).
vii. Engineering Technology for Mineral and Petroleum Resources (ND only).
Petroleum Business and Marketing Studies (ND)
Technology for Petroleum Marketing (HND).
Computing and information technology (xi) (ND only).

2.0 REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY
Candidates for the HND and ND must have five (5) Ordinary Level Credits relevant to their program of choice, including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates for the HND must also have a National Diploma (ND) relevant to their field of study.

FORM 3.0 COST OF ADMISSION
For each PTI admission form submitted by a candidate, a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira Only (N15,000.00) is required.

4.0 ONLINE APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Go to http://www.pti.edu.ng
    Click “Apply for Admission” in step b.
    c. Complete the “Sign On” form online, then click the “Click Here to Sign Up” link at the bottom of the page. (Remember to record the username and password for later use.)
    d. This will direct you to the page where you generate the RRR code, also known as the Remittal Retrieval Reference (RRR) page.
    Print the RRR code sheet, then bring it to any bank to make a payment. Make sure to save the printout of the RRR.

  2. Return to the PTI website (www.pti.edu.ng) after paying the N15,000.00 fee for each admission form by clicking “Return to my Application.”
  3. g. Click LOGIN after entering your Username and Password.
  4. h. Print out the completed online application form after filling it out.

REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:
1) The Institute will not accept inconsistent names, pictures on photo cards, O’Level Certificates, or other registration documents, and defaulting candidates may be disqualified as a result.
2) Send an email to itsupport@pti.edu.ng indicating your RRR code if the portal refuses your USER NAME and PASSWORD when you try to log in again after making a payment.

5.0 SALES PERIOD
Online sales begin on June 27, 2022, and end on September 9, 2022.

LATE APPLICATION 6.0
Late applications are accepted starting on September 16, 2022, and must be submitted by September 30, 2022, for a fee of $20,000 only (N20,000). The website will then be shut down.
