Why It Is Required To Link Your Email Address To JAMB (#JAMB)

You are frequently motivated to take action by your intentions. However, many applicants are unsure of the precise benefits of connecting their email to the JAMB platform. Some merely carried out what they were instructed to do. Even those who are aware don’t fully understand why.



The first and most crucial step in the admissions process after your UTME is establishing your email account. Simply put, not doing so could prevent you from being admitted to the school of your choice.



The following are some justifications for linking your email:



  1. To access the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)
  2. To validate the O-Level results you have uploaded.
  3. To check the status of your admission
  4. Accepting or decline your application
  5. To correct data on JAMB (such as name, date of birth, and changes to institution or course of study).
  6. To print out crucial paperwork (JAMB Admission letter, original JAMB result, etc)



You may perform a number of additional things through your JAMB profile that are impossible unless you first attach your email address.

In conclusion, attaching your email is REQUIRED and is just as significant as your admittance.



For those that haven’t done so yet, just enter any JAMB office or accredited CBT facility carrying a legitimate email address. Be aware that doing so on your phone or at a cybercafé is not permitted.

This is nothing to those who have already linked but are still unable to access their JAMB profile or CAPS.
